Watching British TV when in Australia
Many British people want to watch British TV when in Australia and this has been the case for many years. The reason for this is that there are many Brits in Australia and also the fact that Australian TV is rubbish.
Netflix has come out now in the AUS NZ region and this has made things better but there still is a need for watching BBC iPlayer and ITV Hub for example when down under. If you want to watch these when in Australia you will be needing a VPN. Our VPN is used by many expats as it is one of the few that still unblocks all British TV apps anywhere.
British TV is by far the 2nd best in the world after USA TV and is something that has always been desirable to the foreign market. British TV shows such as doctor who and call the midwife will always be popular on foreign shores and the main TV apps to use for UK TV are the following
1. BBC iPlayer
BBC iPlayer is the main TV app for UK TV content and is the main output for media for the British Broadcasting Corporation
2. ITV Hub
ITV Hub (formerly ITV Player) is the main output for ITV content. ITV is the main commercial Broadcaster in the UK and has some great shows such as xFactor and I’m a celebrity get me out of here
3. All4
All 4 is the app for channel 4 and has some great new and old content. It is great for original content British comedy and movies.
There are half a dozen more players out there and when you have a VPN account with us we can happily show you a list of many TV channels to connect to when abroad.
